Ippudo Sydney 一風堂シドニー

Everyone has been raving about the ramen and pork buns at the new Japanese restaurant in Pitt Street Westfield. So J and I thought we’d drop by for lunch to see what the rave was about. I must admit we came at a pretty good time as there was no crowd nor long queues, as is the case during lunch peak hour. As we walked in, all the staff gave us a warm greeting in Japanese “いらっしゃいませ” (irrashamase), meaning welcome to our store. I love the Japanese culture, and sentimentally reminds me of Japan! No doubt was the food exceptional and it definitely lived up to our expectations.

There was no way I was going to leave this place without first trying the pork buns! The bun itself was so soft; so well made.
